Car & Van Servicing Explained

As one of the biggest financial commitments you’re likely to make, it makes good sense to look after your vehicle. Maintaining your vehicle regularly ensures it stays in peak condition and helps to avoid breakdowns. Following manufacturer’s recommended servicing intervals also helps get the best value for your vehicle when the time comes for a change.
At Allied Autocare we pride ourselves on providing a range of affordable service packages to suit your needs. Your service will be carried out by highly trained, DVSA approved mechanics.
Our parts store carries over 18,000 product lines that match the quality of the manufacturer’s original equipment, giving you maximum peace of mind.
When is My Service Due?
Generally a full service is recommended every 10,000 to 20,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. Mileage intervals vary considerably for different makes and models so please check the service book supplied with your vehicle to make sure you meet the recommended schedule.
If you use your vehicle for regular, short journeys – mainly in urban areas – or if you’re doing very high mileage – an interim service every 6,000 miles or six months will help keep your vehicle safe and roadworthy between full services.
From a simple oil change to a full service check, our highly trained, professional staff will give your car the first class treatment. Plus, if your MOT is due, why not book your service at the same time and save yourself even more money.
Check out our summary table below detailing what’s included in an interim and full service.
