Mobile Servicing – it’s Wurth it.

June 11, 2019

There’s no compromise on quality when it comes to having your fleet mobile servicing carried out by us here at Allied Autocare. A quick and convenient service using state of the art diagnostic equipment is what you will receive. Alan Prentice, Wurth’s Regional Manager for Scotland has shared his experience of a recent mobile service he received.

“For us, this is worth its weight in gold and means we don’t have any down time servicing our fleets of vehicles.”

Who is Wurth?

Wurth Group is a market leader in the sale of fastening and assembly materials. They offer a range of products for DIY stores, electrical components and installations as well as financial services. Alan goes on to explain:

“Wurth is the world’s leading supplier of workshop consumables. Our main markets are Auto / Cargo, Wood / Construction & Metal. We currently supply customers in over 80 countries and have more than 400 companies within the group. We currently have 45 Field Sales Consultants across five different teams, visiting around 450 customers a day in their workshops.”

Servicing While you Wait

Alan booked his company car, an Audi A4, in for a mobile service via email, he commented “the process was extremely easy and hassle free.” Booking a mobile service for your car reduces valuable downtime as any maintenance or warranty work can be carried out on your work premises.

“I was conducting interviews at the Glynhill hotel in Renfrew. I left my keys at reception for the mobile technician, the service was carried out during the interviews meaning no down or travel time for me. My day was much more productive.”

We pride ourselves on having well-trained mobile technicians, who work hard to complete their jobs to the highest of standard. Alan agrees and explains: “The technician was pleasant and friendly, he explained the process and carried out the service at the back of the hotel car park, it only took between two and three hours while I carried on working and the technician also serviced my brake pads, wiper blades and carried out a pre-MOT inspection in that time.”

Handy for All

Mobile servicing is an option for anyone, from one vehicle to a whole fleet. It saves on fuel and time arranging drop-offs and pickups and by using warranty approved parts, there is no compromise on quality. Alan said that he would definitely recommend the service to others stating: “We are in the process of changing all our vehicles in the region over to the mobile servicing with Allied Autocare.”

He goes on: “As we are a sales company, any time off the road for our consultants is money lost. By using Allied Autocare mobile servicing, we can have the cars serviced during team meetings etc. For us, this is worth its weight in gold and means we don’t have any downtime servicing our fleets of vehicles.”
